I have an in-dash monitor, I have installed an noise filter to reduce the noise coming from the alternator. The noise is reduced, but now sometimes when Im riding the monitor starts to jump and becomes distorted. It later on goes away, what causes this. Are my RCA cables too close to the wires that power and control the monitor....

Could be a poor ground, power wires too close to video RCA wires or poor quality RCA's. Check all these and post your results.
