The siren triggers as soon as I plug the harness into the brain. Im not sure why I have only hooked up power ground ignition and the siren output at this time. I wouldnt think that would cause the siren to go off would it?

Some alarms trigger as soon as power is connected.  Once it is connected trying disarming the alarm.

No response from the alarm with that method.

What kind of alarm is it?  Is there a manual override?  You may need to program the remotes to the alarm.  It should respond to the 'disarm' command from the remote.

Try plugging in the alarm with the ignition turned on.

also if all else fails try swapping the brain but before you plug any thing up make sure all your wire are connected do not plug the power harness firs  make it your last conection also your vallett switch needs to be pluge to program remotes and you should not need to do that they come programed

Make sure that you have the (+) and the (-) from the siren hooked up properly. If the system rests the siren output wire at (+) and you have the siren grounded with the (+) wire going to the CPU, the siren will trigger instantly.

Well its not just the siren. Its the relay inside the box I can hear it clicking for the light outputs. I tried plugging it in with the ignition on, no different. Im not sure what you mean by everything else first.
