I am installing an Alpine IVA-W205 into an 05 Magnum with the Boston Acoustics system and trying to get some input as far as speakers go. I have the Metra interface to adapt to the factory amp but wondering if anyone has dont this and how it sounds versus bypassing the amp and running 6x9 Coaxs in the car?

If you bypass the factory amplifier, I do believe that the front doors have separate tweeter and woofer inputs. The crossovers are built into the amps. You are going to have to put caps on the tweeters or find some cheap crossovers to use. I just did a 2007 300 with the Boston system. I hope this helps.
It was already broken, but I made sure it could never be fixed again.

The system that I did sounded pretty good with the ALpine HU and I used the PAC CHY interface module which also gives you all the necessary NAV wires for easy hook up at the back of the radio. This is a CANBUS module .

Yeah I have the Metra Can-Bus adapter with Rca Inputs and Nav Wires, My alpine nav doesnt need any of the wires but I dont know if I want to retain the boston system or just rewire and run coaxs off the deck...
