clifford g4 turbo timer + intellestart 4

I currently have the concept 200 with the intellestart 4 installed in my car.

I know the G4 systems have a timer output for either timed headlights or turbo timer.

Is there anyway to to get this timer to keep my engine running after I arm the car?

I want it to keep the car running for 1 min after I arm.

I need to know how to get the turbo timer that is built into the G4 system to work as it is not currently hooked up.

You can actually make a turbo timer on any alarm that has a timed auxillary output.If you don't have a timed output, use the DEI timer module.....i don't remember the part number (sorry). You will need a relay for each ignition wire your vehicle has. Connect the auxillary output to the relay(s), &  connect the relay(s) to your ignition wire(s). Set the timed output to the amount of time you want the vehicle to run.

Before you turn off your ignition, activate that aux output, then turn off your ignition. The vehicle will continue to run. Arm your system.  When the time runs out, the vehicle will shut down.  Instant turbo timer.

But when i arm the alarm then the alarm whill interupt the ignition and fuel etc.

Do you not have a quick stop function on the system that lets you press the start button on the remote control and then you can remove the key and still have the car running ? I use this for customer's that want a turbo timer but the system doesn't have it. You can arm the system afterwards as well ( at least the models that I install you can ) and you can shut off the system or have the system shut off within it's own time out limit.

That's an option, but the minimum preset of time when you use the 'short stop' function is 3 minutes. So every time you car has to run at least 3 minutes. I most of the times you need to cool down the turbo 1 minute is enough. And i certainly know the alarm has this option, and then you can set any time.

Connect the turbo-timer relays after the AG4 brain. If you're talkin about the wireless imobilizer, it only will never know that the alarm is armed untill the ignition is turned off. After the W/I receives power, it looks for a RF signal from the ag4 brain, If it doesn't get that signal after 20 secs, it will disable the circuit it's connected to.
