i was told that this car requires a negative pulse through relays and a 1500ohm resistor to a single wire, i believe the wire is white. does anyone have a diagram i can go off of??  i am wiring this to a alarm with negative outputs. also  want to hook up trunk release, i believe that i can just use a relay and reverse signal to a positve.  i was told that this car works off of resistance. any help would be appreciated.  thanks  2001 pontiac grand am.

What you need to do is find a 1.5k resistor or get a varable resistor and dial it in and put it on the unlock side of the negative side of the out put of the alarm to the white wire. your trunk release wire is a black white (-) found in the driver kick panel
