I installed an Audiovox APS-57 in a 2003 Nissan Xterra & everything works fine, except when I remotely start it & then I get in & put the key in the ignition & turn it to go, I get a starter grind noise as I'm turning the ignition to "on" position.

There's no transponder in key.

I can't figure it out. Any Ideas??

How did you wire up the second starter output?
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

First I tied the 2 starter wires together to the remote start "starter" wire. In an effort to find the problem, I then isolated the 2nd starter wire with a relay. The same thing happens.
