I want to get new 6x8 speakers.   I put some pioneer 6341r 2 ways and they are ok, but not too crisp. my stocks seemed better.
I have now a pioneer deh 2900mp for the inside speakers, a pioneer 3200T amp and a ts w251r 10 inch pioneer sub. sound good, but the speakers are the weak link.
What speakers I should get? I might want Pioneer since I like how they sound, but I want something more crisp? Infinity? Alpine? Kenwood? Used to have some blaupunkt and they were crazy loud and crisp...

I'm with you on those Blaupunkts... I have a pair of older 6x9's and I wouldn't trade'em for anything!
I have JBL's in my Explorer right now, and I like them alot, but after having them for about a year, I don't feel that they're the best I could have.
Standing beside some Focal's brought me to that conclusion, but I'm not shelling out $800 for a pair either.
Infinity is the same parent company as JBL, and I like their equipment as well.
Alpine Type R's sound great too. Heck, it's really just a matter of going to a local shop where you can listen to them, everyone's ears are different!
Greed is for amateurs.
Disorder,chaos,anarchy now THAT is fun!!
