I have been reading other posts and I have seen remote start wiring instructions for my 2004 Saturn Ion and it keeps saying for the starter wire to see Direct Fax document 1610.  Can someone tell me what this is?  Is there a special type of interface that I have to buy that needs to be hooked up to the starter wire?

It's just a diagram to bypass the PLK2 system using relays and resistors. I would use a bypass module myself instead of trying to find all the necessary stuff for it to do it like is says in the Directfax.

I would use the iDatalink ADS-DL. This way you have door lock controls along with PLK2 bypass.
