I have been out of the car audio loop for a while and I have another project!
I have a older JBL bp-300.1 mono amp. it is 150 at 4ohm and 300 at 2ohm (bridged) How do you bridge a mono amp? It does have 2 sets of speaker outs. I'm looking for a reasonably priced sub, trying to utilize the 300 at 2ohms. Do you guys have a good sub in mind that I can use? I like JL subs as I have one now. Also, I would like to stay in the 10inch subs.
Lastly, I want to do a simple setup, what do you guys think of mounting amp on the box itself? I always though thats a bad idea with the vibrations, but i see it done often...

The amp should tell you @ the speaker term, how to bridge (what connectors to use)

For sub choice.....it's up to your ears, the space you have for the proper enclosure, the type of music to be enjoyed on said woofer..... really, just pick one.... find a "deal" (not on the interweb either)

The amp WILL last a bit longer if you don't shake the livin daylights out of it.
