1996 Buick Riviera SC

I just installed a Python 1400XP Remote starter, and purchased a Self learning Passlock Bypass, for Passlock 1 Passlock 2 and VATS. By Peripheral Electronics model # PPLJX They have since replaced this with model# PPLXR.

The remote starter works wit the key in the ignition, only in the ON position, however i can not get the bypass module to respond. It has power and the LED lights up. The VATS signal wires, White and white. but only 1 of the wires will allow me to connect to, the other disables the whole system altogether.

Wiring instructions Link:   http://peripheralelectronics.com/periph_products/Instructions/PPLXR.pdf

The only wires i connected were:

Brown: after programming.

Green: Key sense

Blue: VATS signal wire

Pink: Ignition

Red: 12v constant

because it says for VATS,and separates the others as Passlock 1 or 2 only.

Thanks for any help!

for some reason i have done a few there is connector that plugs the vats together you will see  it  tap your wires on the computer side of that connector not the  keyside.

I could not get the bypass module to work...so i just used basic resistors..but come to find out i didnt have enough power to power up the vats module, and computer..so i had to use the other 12v constant they supplied as a back up if needed, now everything works.
