I rather add the door trigger to the domelight but will that interfere with the dome light supervision wire that is already installed to turn on the domelight when i press the unlock button? do i just connect both cable to the same wire?
It will work just fine. If your 08 Yaris is the same as the 07 (I believe it is) the domelight wire is a Pink wire at fuse box, Left side. It probably already has a wire soldered to it for the dome supervision.

I know that my antigrind works because when i am in remote start function, if i turn the key all the way it will not crank the car. does this mean that the relay is setup properly? if it is not then all i need to do is follow your instructions by cutting the starter wire and connecting the cables as you told me? i would not need to add additional relays?
You do not need to touch this, because if the anti-grind is working then the starter kill is also working.

I would not need to diode isolate any of the two wires that will be connected to the domelight (Pink) wire?

also (just thought about this), what if my car has a domelight delay? does that alarm have a domelight delay learn feature? will i still be able to use the domelight - wire or diode isolate all four door triggers?

Correct.

The 1600XP has the ability to ignore the door trigger status for a bit after arming. Your dome light delay will be fine.

Twelvoltz - i have some feedback for you.
Today i got into my car and locked the door (led lights starts to blink) and i suppose that the starter kill should be activated once you lock the doors. I put the key in the ignition and the car starts and the led stops blinking.
Is the starter kill function something only offered on the 1600xp? i was under the assumption that if the antigrind is working that the starter kill uses the same relay. i know taht antigrind works because while the car is remote started the ignition will not crank when turned to start..
sorry for the ongoing convo but i really appreciate your help.

The security features are turned off. This is the default mode for the 1400XP. Take a look at the programming menu, feature 1-15. If you turn this feature on the starter kill will be active once locked. If the horn honk was hooked up, once you turn the ignition on once locked the horn will honk and the starter will not turn over with the key.

Ill let you know how everything comes out once i do the install. Thank you....

Twelvoltz, Thank you so much for all your help. I successfully installed the alarm with minimal additional wiring. The h1 harness was an exact dupicate of what was already there (with the exception of the door trigger and trunk trigger). After wiring and programing the alarm everything works GREAT. Thanks for your guidance and clearing up my questions.
