Help please I have a carvox 2300a black egale alarm / remote starter system that is now installed in my car but i can seem to get it to remote start my car. I did what the books said to do with it to get it too remote start which is before turning off the car place into park, set parking brake, turn off ING., remove key and car should stay runing ( and it does stay runing) exit the car and close doors then hit lock button on remote. then the car is ready for remote starting so then you hit the star and unlock buttons on the remote and when i do so all the dash lights come on with check engine lights and i hear the fuel pump runing and then the light shut down and no starter engaugement. i hope someone could please help me out my e-mail is irocz28@comcast.net i check this email here on this site about 4-6 times a day i would be willing to pay someone with my paypal account for there time if we get it working. -Dave

Well we're all here to help, but I will suggest that you remove your e-mail address from the thread unless you like getting e-mails about Viagra.  We can easily reply to your thread here, or if necessary, we can send a private message.

Apart from that, help us help you.  Please post the make, model and year of your car, as many people here may have experience with your model.

you can't until you reach standard status. If I had to guess I would say you have an 89 iroc z, and it is that blue color.

The make and model is a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria p71 ex police car, it is really strange because it will stay running after I had set the e brake just following setting it into park just as the manual say to do before a remote start may be done. So with that being said I believe that all the wires be hooked up correctly but I guess there must be some kind of programming that need to be done that I don’t know about I had read the whole manual and I can’t seem to be getting any ware with it.

Well, the only thing I can think of is perhaps a connection issue with your starter wire?  You may want to check and make sure it is hooked up properly and that you have it connected to the right wire in the car.  From what I can see the starter wire is a WHITE/ pink wire.  You should test it first with a multimeter to make sure.

If that doesn't work you may want to check your ignition wire.  Since it seems to stay running after you take your key out, than that's probably hooked up right.  Your car appears to have 3 different ignitions wires but in some vehicles it isn't necessary to power them all.

Did you hook up the anti-grind relay? I do not know if that system even offers it, but the biggest culprit I have seen for this type of scenario is the installer hooked up the key and starter sides of the wires backwards.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

I see what you are saying if the starter wire coming from the alarms starter module is on the other side of the relay as the starter module that is trying to send current to engage the starter, the alarms security module has the relay grounded for anti theft and wont receive the request. I had thought of that also and checked and looks right. I had also tried shutting all the doors and probing it with the test light and just to see if the starting module would send current to the start wire but it won’t just powers up the ing and acc wires, the dash light check engine lights come on and radio and blower motor but no starter engagement. I have the brake wire hooded up and like I said before it stay running after set the brake and removing the key, will pay 100 bucks via PayPal to the person who can fix this mess I am about to make a new post alarm for say I had 3 of them for my cars this is nut though. I think this system has some way of programming it thought the remote like gas/diesel, automatic/manual. And I had played around with these settings and still no luck. Someone who has this system who had success with it is going to be the one to crack it maybe. I am pulling y hair out here people......
