Does the factory Bose system use a remote turn on lead that I can use to turn on an aftermarket amp, and if so anyone have a schematic and know what color it is?? If it does not, any idea's what I should use for a remote turn on lead? Thanks

the radio harness does not provide an amplifier turn on. the amplifier turn-on is controlled by the lan serial network.
The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

OK, I guess so the question remains, where should I get a remote turn on source from? The amp I am using has signal sensing capabilities (JL 1000/1) but the whole reason I wanted to run a remote was to prevent any foul ups where the amp is live and drains my battery when not in use, and 2, I wanted to place an override switch in between the remote wire and the amp so if I ever want to just listed to the radio at human levels of bass I can LOL (putting a 13w7 on the 1000/1). What do you suggest?
