Well at circuit city, when doing an Amp/sub... we always drill into the firewall...

without even asking the customer, my question is, what do you guys do when the  customer dosnt want to drill into there car, and theres no other place to run it.. for instance like a Scion Tc...

If there is no rubber boots to enter safely then id tell the customer to come back when he invents a way to wirelessly send hundreds of amps of current to the amp without wires. And once he discovers that, tell him you will buy stock in his company.
Im willing to bet though if you show him one of the waterproof gromit's he will change his mind.

You have to drill if there no other option.
The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

Yeah, run it underneath the vehicle and drill up under where the wire comes in at next to the amp (at the back of the car). Then the customer won't have any water troubles to worry about, and you can still get inside.

Wire will have to be inside like wire loom/techflex or something...

If the customer won't allow you to drill any holes send them somewhere else to have it installed.

They will either decide an amp isn't that important or that one hole really isn't that big of a deal.
