I was driving home today, radio at a normal level and all of a sudden my bass cuts out. When i get home, i check my amp and notice the light is not on showing that it is working, but neither is the protect light showing a fuse or other issue. I pull out my tester and find that it is getting power from both the battery as well as the remote power from the stereo. Any idea for why it would just suddenly cut out? It was only in use for about 15-20 minutes before shutting down and a low output so overheating isnt an issue.

Sounds like a ground might be loose, or a dead amp.  Is it under warranty?
