This amp is at least 1 year old....correct? So a 2ohm load should be NO problem, actually ideal. Thats not much amp for that sub.

This rig has no factory amp. you can tag speaker level anywhere.     What does this mean?  Remote amp has a 2 amp inline fuse because i couldnt find a 1 amp.

How are you turning the amp on?

The deck shouldn't have an amp turn on output......never seen it, not in an OE deck.    Make sure your sub is wired in paralell

That amp is a 2 channel amp correct? Well if the sub is a dual 4 ohm voice coil, then wiring the coils in parallel would give you a 2 ohm load, but if you bridge the amp the amp will "see" a 1 ohm load. The amp would then go in to protect mode at higher volumes.  Change the wiring at the sub to series and you'll be ok.

When he says there is a 2 amp fuse inline on the remote wire, thats what he means. His remote turn on wire for the amp is fused. Good for you, most people forget to fuse this.

Thanks, it is a mono block though so I don't know about that solution but it might make me put it in parallel anyways...

Also its on an inline converter.... no RCA's

Thanks for the replies!
