Does anyone know the wire color for the Rear Defogger on a 2002 GMC Yukon? I am wiring a remote starter and want to add that as my second channel when remote starting vehicle.

Thank you very much for any help!  2002 gmc yukon rear defogger wiring -- posted image.

At the defroster switch, find a white negative trigger. Unaware of weather or not it's latched or not.

There is also a purple under the dash above the parking brake pedal. Use a relay, and fuse the 12v at 20 amps.

KarTuneMan,

Do you have a description on how to wire the relay? I am new at wiring a rear defroster output.

Thank you!  2002 gmc yukon rear defogger wiring -- posted image.

It is White and it requires a negative latch trigger and activates the relay.

Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.
