Can anyone get me a copy of the install manual for the Auto Mate AM6.2?  I talked to the installer that did mine today and they have no clue yet why mine is working the way it is.  They said "their" blue wire isn't the same as other remote starters.  Here's the problem in a little more detail:

Hit the button for the remote starter, parking lights flash, truck starts up, after 5 - 10 seconds after starting the parking lights kick on to confirm it's running and then all the doors unlock!  If I hold the remote button in for 3 seconds (which is supposed to UNlock the doors) the doors lock.

Thanks!!

Dude....The blue wire is an unlock on that model. I don't know what bull he's saying about it if I install the same damn product, same model, same make. They must not know what the heck they are talking about.
I have the install manual saved, would you like me to email you a copy in PDF format for Adobe Acrobat Reader?
The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

I would fix it in like a few minutes... and I would do you a favor and only charge you $500.00 bucks. Thats a bargain cause I would be fixing it for you....Ha Ha Ha!! Just kidding, but seriously I could fix it if there is no other option for you. Just let me know if you need any other advice.

I finally got a chance today to look at some of the starter wiring. It does appear they have the Green and Blue lock/unlock wires hooked up right. I reversed them for the heck of it and it now locks the doors 10 seconds after starting and if I hold the button down for 3 seconds after it's started and running, it does nothing.
I was looking through the manual you sent me (thanks again for that) and I seen something in there on page 27 under "auto learn transmitter configuration" that button one is Car Locator, RemoteStart/Unlock during start and Remote Start. Does that mean you can program it to just remote start or to remote start AND unlock? It looks like Feature 19 in the programming. Also, for the Unlock output, should it be 1 pulse or 2? 1 looks like it's the default.
As a side note, I found out last night that my sliding rear window doesn't work any more! I checked the fuse, but it looks good. Coincidence or could it be something they did?
Thanks!

In the new Honda Accord Hybrid we just did it takes a double pulse to unlock. There is also a set of three wires we had to access in the drivers door that are in a six pin white plug. There is a white 22 awg wire that is for lock detect that needs to go to ground when you unlock. I don't think it is the case in your truck but I do think the double pulse will unlock. You may have to change the settings for that opposite since the color code in the vehicle is reversed. trace where they go and see if they are hooked up to these colors.
Power Unlock     BROWN          (-)          IN DRIVER DOOR
Power Lock     ORANGE          (-)          IN DRIVER DOOR
We also needed the factory alarm disarm light GREEN/ black wire hooked up so when it was locked with factory remote it would disarm alarm before it started vehicle. It was kinda a funky set up with a couple diodes to isolate and I have that written down at work on what we did so I would have it if I needed to do another Honda.
About your sliding window, there might be another fuse under hood to check.

Can you explain about that thing on page 27 about the "auto learn transmitter configuration" that button one is Car Locater, RemoteStart/Unlock during start and Remote Start. Does that mean you can program it to just remote start or to remote start AND unlock? It looks like it's Feature 19 in the programming.
Do you think the easiest thing (if the double pulse works) might be to set the Lock for a double pulse and just leave the lock and unlock wires reversed? That way it would lock the doors when it starts and then if then unlock the doors if you held the button in for 3 seconds (if changing the lock signal to a double pulse works).
Thanks!

All that is for is adding additional transmitters up to 4 total to the receiver unit. This unit is a basic system that doesn't have additional options such as trunk release or anything like that.
