neg or positive clutch? if its postive, connect your start wire to the wire that shows 12v when clutch it pressed. if its a negative, wire up a relay.

85 - constant 12v

86 - ground out when running
87 - ground
30 - to wire that shows ground when clutch pressed.

ok...I got everything figured out

the R/S worked a few times...

now it does not work anymore...when I turn on the car, the led's stay on constantly...read the manual and states it's in service mode...tried to take it out of service mode or reprogram but nothing...the parking lights stay on all the time now even when the car is shut off..checked all the connections and everything is good...

when I press the buttons on the transmitters, the led's just blink constantly

someone please help...is the R/S unit defective??  Ultra Start 1256M

Thanx

Back when I installed Ultrastart I saw a lot of units go into service mode and then would not come out of it. Swapping the antenna and antenna cable would fix the problem. Either that, or you are not trying to take it out of service mode using the correct procedure. How are you attempting to do it?
