the remote start on the system wont work, i have a dei 555f bypass module for the ignition transponder bypass, but it doesnt work. i even put the key in the ignition and then hit the remote start button, and that started it! are there any special tricks to this that i should know about?

The 555F is a bitch to get placed right; I usually avoid them and use a 555U and a spare key.
Did you program the 555F? If so, now try holding the pellet right in front of the key cylinder and remote starting....
If it works now, it's programmed right, you just have to experiment with placement.
If it still doesn't work, it's either miswired or not programmed.
