I own a 05 Mazda 6 and I had a Valet 562T installed almost a year ago. I thought everything was good until I went to the Mazda dealer today to get a new factory remote for my car. They couldn't program the remote because when the car is running and the ignition key is turned to the "OFF" position, the car stays on. When the key is pulled out, it shuts off though. Also, when the car is off, the key is put into the ignition, all the console turns on like when the key is turned. I brought it back to where I had it installed but they haven't really had a chance to look at it yet. Any suggestions?
I'm not educated in any of this. I just want to have a clue when they finally get to look at it.
Thanks

The 562T should not affect how the vehicle works from the factory, it is an add-on not a replacement for factory installed equipment. The install shop that put it in should be able to fix these issues for you at no charge. Then you should be able to return to the dealer and have the new remotes programmed.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.
