Hi, I would like to know which is the wire for the trunk release for a 2003 Lincoln Towncar. It is a Cartier edition, if that matters. Thanks for any help.

WHITE/ purple + at the switch remebmber ur probley gonna have to use a relay to rev polarity depending ur starter...

its WHITE/ violet @ door modual in driver door. There should be a wire comming from the door into the kick panel. look there, if not trace ur wire from the trunk solenoid back to the middle of the cab. If you can find it, tap into it with a POSTIVE trigger. most alarms/starter will ahve neagtive trunk release. To change it to postive, grab a relay and wire like so

85 - constant 12v +

86 - ground from remote start (trunk output)

87 - Fused constant 12v @ 5 amps

30 - To trunk wire.
