Hi all,

I've decided on a remote start for my 07 Explorer Sporttrac and I'm hoping some experienced installers will give me there opinion on which bypass will work the easiest for me.  I've been looking at the XK04 and it is only 3 wires and the D2D cable which looks great.  It says it comes preloaded with the proper firmware which i think is PKFORD.

Any thoughts?  It is going to be hooked up to an Autostart AS-1755.

The PKF3 or in your case the XK04 flashed with the Ford firmware is my preferred bypass for these vehicles. It is my opinion that this bypass is not only the easiest I have used but the most reliable as it is not effected by temperature. It programs just like adding a third key to the vehicle so it requires you have two preprogrammed keys to get it working.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

Great,  I just want to make sure it will work without any hicups because there is nothing I hate more then having to go and get parts while i'm in the middle of it.
