wire the subs in series and bridge the amp. ur not gonna quite get the power u want but thats the best way in my opion. what kid of car are u puttin this in the residencey will also make a huge diffrence
STEE-RIKE ONE! Residency? Do you mean the kind of car? That will make NO difference to whether you wire in series or parallel or bridged or stereo.

well first off i mean paralel. and it does help cus if it drops the ohmage lest resistance more power if he wants to stick to that set up so series advice ur right it is but parallel will help the situation
STEE-RIKE TWO! The correct phrase is "drops the IMPEDANCE". "Ohmage" is adverb form or the Bhuddist centrist chant - ooooohhhhhhmmmmmm.

Around here we do things a little bit differently. We like to get ALL the information available (and yes, sometimes, it's like pulling teeth...) THEN we offer solutions. This ain't your daddy's car audio forum (.com)

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Let us know what your budget is for the system your wanting to put together and your sure to get several systems. And what do you want out of it a good sq, bass system or what have you.

What items do you currently have? That would be alot of help along with your budget of what you want to spend and willing to spend. Since you can always just get a few quality items then as your able to add other quality items.

I'd check out the factory renewed Kicker zx1500.1 at hifisoundconnection.com.  Looks like about $380 shipped to MO.  Power would be just about ideal for those subs.

I agree with n2audio go with a 1ch amp that kicker vx1500.1 sounds like a steal, my brother has 4 kicker cvr's with a crossfire 1000d in a ported box. Let me tell you it hits like a champ, but you will need 2ohmdvc to get that 1ohm load
well?
