Hello,

I bought this wonderful car for my daughters I have had to re wire it.

It say's made in Wales and Kinder Cars Ltd on it

Anyone heard of these before?

Looking for a relay to SPDT reverse the polarity of the motor

and a way like wheel cars do it variable power for speed as the wife say's it's too fast :o)

Had to fit a 100 amp 12v relay to turn the motor on and off as the others 32 amp just burn out....

Use the diagram for actuators found here

Connect your two motor wires where it says "actuator".

Forward / reverse signals from switches connect to where it says "lock" and "unlock".

I'm just after a relay a SPDT rated at 100 amps or more

Thank you for leading me to that diagram that is exactly what a SPDT Relay does but where are they lol.

Maplins do some but only 32 amp I already burned out the switch they have for doing it.

Anyone heard of this car anyone know of a 100 amp circuit to slowly supply the motor from 1v to 12v Like a Wheel chair one does or those cars people drive around on the path.

It uses a car battery by the way guys and I'm fitting an mp3 player to it should be fun also looking for a miniature car radio to fit it just for show.

If you're looking for a 100a relay on the cheap, try a starter solenoid from a Ford or something else where it's not integrated into the starter.

If you would like something more throttle-like rather than an on/off switch, you would need some sort of motor controller. Think golf cart, electric wheelchair, scooter, etc. Controllers for 48v or less generally aren't too mu ch $$$.

A starter solenoid will not work. They are not a constant duty device. They will burn up in a minute or less. I have no idea where you can find a 100 amp relay. If you do find a SPDT 100 amp relay, you do realize that you will need 2 of them? A DPDT relay is really what you are looking for.
