A guy on my car forum is asking what this unit in the pictures are and several responses is that they are part of an Alarm system. I am unaware of any Alarms that use a TRS jack of any sort. To me it looks like some sort of integrated bluetooth/audio/visual connectors w/o the brain. Please help.

Can't tell you exactly what brand but I'm guessing a European immobiliser of about 12 years ago that used a resistive control as did GM and the resistor was incorporated into a 1/4" jack that was inserted into the hole above the LED to release it.  Trace the wiring, you'll find 12v perm feed x1, ground x 2, starter and ign or fuel pump cuts, 2 each and ign stand-off x 1. The black wiring is the clue.

Actually looking at the picture with the plugs I'm guessing there was an alarm module attached to the bigger plug.
