Do head units build up heat ??? -- posted image.Hello ,i think i may have to install my HU and two other pieces of equipement in the ...glove box,i know it will not look right but i'm worried about someone breakin into my car,so my question is ,can i safely do it or i need to consider some form of ventilation.Actually i will keep the stock radio still in place just as a decoy,what do you guys think ?Do head units build up heat ??? -- posted image.

All HU generate heat. Placing it in the glove box ( depending on how big it is ) will probably be better for cooling than the stock location.
