Need Help! Honda Accord Window Motor

It is pretty easy to replace a honda window motor. First thing you need to do is remove the door panel. Then there will be two clips that hold the window to the regulator, on 10mm bolt on each clip. Remove the window and set it aside. Then there are around 5 10mm bolts holding the power window assembly to the door, remove them and take the assembly out of the door from the bottom, you also have to disconnect the wiring going to the motor. Then there are a couple of bolts holding the motor to the assembly, just remove the bolts and take the motor off. Be careful to alight the teeth when you put the motor back on to the assembly, the teeth will chip really easy. Then just work backwards to put back together. Parts are usually pretty cheap through honda, at least cheaper the checker or autozone. If you need any other info then I would suggest on buying a chiltons or a haynes manual for your vehicle, I would get one anyways. I have had to do this on my civic and it only took about half an hour to do and was pretty easy.Certified Security Specialist

have you tried lubricating the tracks it will help alittle but a new motor is in the future.Jon
