Can Some one tell me how to measure RPM from the engine of a car with a Digital Multimeter with %duty?

hi set your meter to ac ground the black lead probe suspectg wire with other lead your voltage should be climb when you rev the motor.

I'm sorry i do not understand what you are trying to say, i'm talking about my RPM of my engine with "%duty" on the multimeter
