I have a '94 Honda Accord EX with a power lock problem. Each time the locks are locked they lock and unlock contimually for about 60 sec. This wouldn't bother as much as the noise is makes is horrible.

Is there a way I can just diconnect my power locks and make my locks manual?

are the door locks factory?  or are they aftermarket?

You can pull the fuse on the locks in your fuse box, or locate the lock and unlock wires and cut them so they no longer have power.

You can remove the fuse for the door locks (granted nothing else of importance is attached to it) or you can find the lock and unlock wires and cut them (be sure to cap them off so they don't ground off and cause a short somewhere).

they are factory locks.

what would be the best way to find which fuse goes to the locks? trial and error?

I have a 94 accord LX and it does the same thing, only when the doors are locked, it continues to lock them over and over. I thought it was unlocking and locking but i watched it and noticed it just keeps locking it.

I'm assuming that the switches merely wear over time and the contacts get stuck somehow. But im not sure.
