In the near future I am planning to install power door locks on two toyota trucks.  One is a 98 tacoma and the other is an older pickup (i think it's an 84 or somewhere around there).  I was looking at purchasing actuators from parts express.  They sell them pretty cheap.  I am going to use relays to control them on both vehicles.  My question is how much current do they pull?  I need to know this to determine the size wire I need to purchase.  Also, are there any unseen problems I may run into?  Thanks

One other thing, does anybody know of any place to get switches for these things that look pretty nice.

The current draw on most DLA are not very high... maybe about 1 or 2 amps if that. You only need to use a 18 gauge wire and they do not need to be fused. I thought Parts Express also sold the switches for these actuators but if not SPAL sells OEM type switches as well.
