Hello,

I have a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire, and I presently have a Sony MP3 deck installed in the vehicle. I need to put back the factory deck because the vehicle's lease is up.  Do I need any special harnesses or whatnot to return  to the OEM unit?

Thanks,

Bruno Hache

Did you cut the factory harness off when you installed the MP3? If not you should be able to just plug it back in.

Hello,

I didn't do the install job (afraid of all the install myths with those vehicles back then). I don't think the factory harness has been cut off though.

Well then your next step is to slide your deck out from the dash and see what you have. Hopefully whoever installed your MP3 used an aftermarket harness and you can just unplug it and plug your factory radio back in.
