Hey guys, I just installed an indiglo gauge on my car. Since it's power is wired to the factory dash-lights, so everytime the alarm activates, arms or disarms, the gauges will flash.  Would this be safe for the gauges or do you recommend wiring a switch so I can keep them off and the on when I want to.

Thanks in advance!

I've had mine on the parking light circuit for over a year and no problems.

3 years here and no problems except dimming but that is because of the age.
