i purchased CT3100 prostart from canadian tire about a year ago. i installed it in my 96 ford f150. it works fine. This weekend i purchased another CT3100 and installed it in my 93 sunbird. it works fine. but when i press the start button to start the truck both vehicles start. when i press the button for the car only the car starts. as per the instructions i reset both units and programmed them again but with no results. i called the installers at the store and they talk to me like i'm stupid. is this a fulk. please help. brokecam

programm the appropriate remote 4 times in each car this should be ok after

try-it

It's not you...it's PRO-START...from what I've gathered from a person on this forum...THEY'RE JUNK!! sometimes tehy work..most of the time they dont'

They are junk. They have a 75% or higher warranty return rate. If it hasn't failed yet, it will!

I would return the unit that starts with both remotes. If you did not program both remotes into it, it should not start with both! So if it does, its fauly!

And once again...another dissatisfied installer when it comes to Pro-Start...3,500 installers can't be wrong...Pro-Start is Pro-Sh*t....
