Stripped Seat Bolts

I hope this isn't off topic but.. Okay so I installed my crossovers under my front pass. seat b/c that seemed like a good place to do it. So I recently swapped out the comp set for a different one and in changing the crosses I was unable to get the seat out.. the front left bolt had ripped off part of the sheet metal that it was attached to when I loosened the bolt and I had to cut the bolt off with bolt cutters... And then ALL the other bolts I took out.. which I had a heck of a time doing.. all came out with the threads all warped about half-way down. Now I got my passenger seat back in but the original bolts won't even turn more than about 1/2 way in and I only have three of them... needless to say when I gave the pretty hostess a ride home from work the other night I was quite embarassed b/c her seat flopped around like a fish out of a water. How do I fix something like this? The only thing that occurs to me is to get new bolts from Home Depot or something and just force them in with an 18v drill or something... but then of course, the seat will never come out again. Velocity Motors: Okay I'm going to say this back to you and tell me if this makes sense: You're saying that I have to drill out a hole a wee bit bigger than the ones in the car, then use a seperate tool .. a 'tap' ... which will thread a new bolt hole for me? Then I bolt up new bolts matched to the tap? auex: A 1993 Toyota Corolla. You have experience with this I take it? Why did this happen? I mean, I've taken out the seats in other cars dozens of times and never ruined the thread not once but 4 times! I mean.. sometimes stuff never fits back together quite the way it did before but I've never *ripped off metal* ... I was quite preturbed. Wow IPods really are retarded aren't they? *EVERYONE* at my gym is suddenly wearing them around their necks now that that stupid $99 thing came out.
