I found that gray connector with the blue electrical tape, but I couldn't get a reading from it. Also there are two blue wires, one light and one dark blue wire with a red\tan color strip (I think or it has dotted lines). The gray connector only has 16 wires in it...Is this the right connector? It's the only one that doesn't have something plugged into it.

Go to the distributor and there you will see a plug with about 6 wires ( maybe 8 ) and you will find a BLUE wire there. tap into this one.
