Im looking to start entering my car in some comps in the midwest i live in minnesota, and i cant seem to find any that allow amatures. Just the 20 sub van's(rediculas). If any one knows where i could contact some people about good comps in my area. That would be very much appreciated. I drive a baja bug with 3 power hx2's 3000 pure watts. Tell me if im competition worthy.

Hey Akira,

When you say 3 power HX2 I assume Rockfords......cool choice!  And yes you can compete with what you have in an amateur class.  There was this car from western Canada with a Rockford head unit and 36 speakers and NO AMP!  Over 120 DB !  All the wires were run in the car exposed to prove they weren`t cheating. Way to go!

Do some footwork in your area at local boom shops for dates of comps, Future Shops and Best Buys also have promo events that just love enthousiastic competeters like you.

Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.
