I'm having no luck installing alarm to work through my keyless system.Alarm is a Guardian model 911-800. Vehicle is a 2002 Subaru Forester. Problem tieing alarm into keyless entry module.Looking for Doorlock power switch & actuator circuits.Wiring diagram vehicle says find (-) pulse wires to trigger unit. Thought I found the correct wires, but unit still arms/disarms with both remote & door switches. I'm working at the harness leading to the drivers door. Do I have to go into the door panel to find correct wires? Can really use so help. Thanks. John.

Hey John, sounds like your pretty frustrated witht his install already. In the diagram that I sent you, it said that the wires are at the key ( inside the door ) You will most likely have to take the door panel off and wire it straight to the switch ( if you haven't already done so ). Test all the target wires in the switch on the door and apply a ground wire to the target unlock/lock wire to see if this will activate the locking mechanism. Post your results.

Jeff; Your right I'm stumped. At the Remote keyless entry module I found a wire that locks doors when grounded, and one that unlocks doors when grounded. The same wires lead to the door harness. I tried using these in addition to (+) lock, (+) unlock, & (+) unlock other door wires but still no success. The different wiring connections in the alarm instructions aren't very clear, at least to me. I will try to open the door panel and check for more wires. Any other ideas. Thanks for your help. John.

you might have the wires from the lock motor.....that might be the reason why you can activate the alarm from the door switch

Thanks for the imput. I know i've got something hooked up wrong. I guess I'll go into the door panel after the correct wires. I figured I could find them all at the harness and make things easy. John.
