92 Integra two Green/White wires at Brake Switch

I'm a newbie to this board AND to auto electronics. I've done lots of mechanical work as a hobby. But now I'm installing a remote starter (1250M UltraStart) designed for a manual transmission. The wire diagrams for 92 Integras show to install the brain's brake wire to GREEN / WHITE (pos) at the brake switch.
OK, now to show my ignorance... my Integra has two GREEN / WHITE wires at the switch--what's the difference? I'm assuming one is (neg) and the other (pos) how do I test for polarity? Or is there no difference, but the extra wire is there for another purpose?
Just by surfing the 'net I've learned how to use an analog mulitimeter to test for voltage and ground. What do I need to test for polarity? Do I need to get a DMM?

Just find out which wire goes positive when the brake is applied.  You don't need to use a meter, you could use a test light.  But a meter is more relaible and will not blow airbags, for the most part.  Polarity is not the probably not the best word for this.  You just need to find which wire goes +12V when the brake is applied.  If all you have is an analog meter then set it to dc voltage, take one lead to ground and then test the two wires and find which one switches to +12V.

The first wire I tested went to 12V when I applied the brake. So I didn't bother to check the other one. Should I assume the other wire would not "register" in the same way on the multimeter? Is that what (neg) means? In other words (neg) is no response? So then what about the Dome Light connection being GREEN/ Red (neg)? Does that mean it starts at 12V when off but when the dome light is activated the meter drops to zero?
I'm troubleshooting my install and covering all the bases for anything I might overlook. The curse of inexperience.

NEG means NEGATIVE or 0 voltage to ground. Any part of your vehicles chassis is grounded to the battery . The DOMELIGHT is attached to the door trigger and it is a (-) trigger system meaning that the wire has 12 volts through it when the doors are closed and when the door pin hits the frame it turns taht wire into a (-) causing the circuit to be closed.
