hello i have a question concerning car alarms.  i have a 2001 Chevy S-10 Xtreme and i have to outfit it with a car alarm cuz i just had a break in and lost my stereo equipment (bah!)  i was wondering what wiring diagram does the installer need to do the job? will the one for the 2000 S-10 be sufficient under "security" here on the website?  I was told by the dealer that he will need one (i am stationed in the UK so they do not see american vehicles as often as british so its different).  i hope that will be all he needs to install the alarm!  i dont want him to be hunting all day :)

any info would be helpful! thanks :)

Hi IronMedic, the 2001 is the same as the 2000, but even though the information is showing to be the same, the installer should verify each wire before making any connections. Let us know how it turns out.
