elec problem 1996 jeep grand cherokee

driving the other day and my radio,turn signals ,flashers and all interior lights went out. i have checked all fuses and relays they all work. then by mistake i  held in the arm for the high beams and all came on.has anyone have a clue on what is wrong with my jeep. if i hold it in place everything works if i release it i have no power to any of it.

the connector for the wiring inside the control stick is loose, take apart your stearing column shroud and check all connections.
