Really new to this forum, but did some poking around.  Cheers to the moderators awesome forums.  I found what I was looking for, but I've come up with a new problem.  Installed a car starter (remote) works great but now have no cruise.  Looked things over for a short or broken wires and nothing anyone ever heard of a remote starter effecting cruise control.  Or are there any genuises out there that might me able to point me in the right direction of what to look for.

Thanks

If it ain't broke don't touch it!

Try checking the connection for the brake circuit. this is about the only associated circuit that the two things have in common. The wire you need for the remote starter's brake circuit is WHITE/ tan. If you have used another wire this could be the problem.

Also make sure that where u connected the tach wire you didnt splice into any wires affecting the cruise operation.
