I have been searching online and for answers and cant really find a definitive answer.
I am using bondo brand fiberglass resin and am wondering what is the best way to thin it so that it can be more "water like"?
I just need it to be more fluid than it already is so that it can get into some crack and crevices. i also need more working time with it.
I have read to use a few drops of acetone, but i have also read that it will not cure properly if i do so.
Thanks in advance for your help

add styrene suppressant to it. it also cuts down on the bad odor as well.

you mean MEKP? not likely. to thin it down that much with MEKP will be a bad idea. in fact a 50/50 mix or close to it of resin and mekp will actually start smoking and ignite and burn just from the thermal heat alone.
