when box building how do u measure cubic ft.

this ones kinda complicated its (L)x(W)x(H) but you have to convert the inches to decimal values ie, 3.0" = 0.25' . Ex: 12"x12"x12" would be 1x1x1 and would be equal to 3 cubic feet

I'm afraid that DjIQ hasn't got his sums correct when he says that 1*1*1 = 3 cubic feet, cos 1*1*1 = 1 cubic foot. Rather than converting each measurement into decimal before multiplying, I find it much easier to multiply width * height * length in inches and then divide the result by 1728. The calculator then does the work for you.
