Ok so i have a 03' Tiburon and i just f/g the spare tire well..  i noticed that it gets extremly hot in the tire well and my amps will eventually overheat..

my setup is simple.. i have a peice of MDF that sits ontop of the stock mounting hole for the spare tire.. theres about 1" from the bottom of the S/T/Well to the MDF... then i have 3 layers of f/g and 2 coats of body filler ontop + primer/paint/clearcoat...

now i really need to vent out the heat..

i was thinking like 4-6 small +5v computer fans to circulate the hot air and vent it out through the peice of MDF that sits ontop of the amps..  it has a 8"X10" peice of plexiglass in it..

any suggestions well help...

Even 4 fams with two wired in revese will work properly . Look at he fan's cm rating and make sure you get one that is rated high as it will move more air.

put a heat shield around your exhaust to stop the heat being produced, and get some 12 volt computer fans so you dont have to worry about voltage differences. I agree that 4 fans is enough, 2 blowing in one side and 2 blowing out the other side.
