ok i am wanting to build kick pods. for 6.5 mb quarts. now..i am going to be starting on the passenger side of the car. but w/e outcome comes out of the passenger side i want almost exactly the same on the drivers side..
is there any tricks of the trade of maybe duplicating this. cause i have seen many kick pods done by people and ya they look alright. :\ but the shape to them is horrifiing, no offense to anyone!

Most of the time you can't get mirror image pods because of the kickpanels being different from factory. This is especially true if it's a manual transmission vehicle or a vehicle with the foot rest by the kick panel. Do you have matching kick panels now ?? What car is this ?

It's hard to make them exactly alike and personally, I don't have any tricks or techniques that you can do to make them identical either. The best you can do is to make the angles of the trim rings the same and from there the shape of the pods will be somewhat the same, but not a mirror image.

alright..i'll try my best.
i also have another Q, i was wanting to make the kick pods to join with the corner threshholds. any ideas on how you would do that. cause i just use the stock threshhold or should i just make a completely custom threshhold along with the pods?

To make them exactly the same your going to have to make some sort of structure and angle the ring at your desired position. But, once you make the first structure, make the second one and use the first as a model. Might help.... Not sure about joining the corner thresholds.
