I have been getting better at fiberglassing and such, but now ive developed a few parts that my some people in my car club are wanting.. instead of doing each by hand, i want to develop a mold to speed up the process.. I need some direction here. Especially as to the best material to make the mold from, release agents, etc.. I wil be using fiberglass for the projects, and a smooth finish is desireable.

any help would be great!

It sounds like you've already made your positive. Now you'll need to make the negative. Usually that's made out of foam. Specifically the two part expanding foam. PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) is one of the most popular release agents for moldmaking. Mold release wax is another. And of course gel coat. This link might give you a few more pointers.
