I know there is a thread on this, but it is 6 years old, and closed, so I can't add my questions. I own a 1995 Honda Accord EX coupe, and I would like to do a full LED retrofit to it, tails, tag lights, side marker lights, and front turn signals. The turn signals, side markers and reverse lights seem easy enough (aside from trying to figure out what resistors to use), my problem lies with the brake lights. I don't know if it would be easier (ie, better) to use seperat sets for the parking lights and actual brake lights, or to figure out how to get them to dim. I have been "lurking" around this site for a few days now, and find most of the diagrams posted hard to read, so please, go easy on me.
My ship out for boot camp is June 20, 2011.

Why not off the shelf LED "bulbs" including the combined tail & stop/flasher?
Don't forget to change the flasher-can to suit the LEDs and re- or de-adjust any blown-bulb sensors.
And don't forget to check the legalities.

Without getting your setup DOT approved what you are trying to do is illegal which will most likely get this thread closed.

And the reminder that I may have overstepped again....
FYI - did I mention the other forum where someone was retrofitting lights (HIDs or LEDs?), and they had seen "their same vehicle model" fitted with them (presumably as OEM), and THEREFORE it was legal for him to retrofit. I didn't bother explaining that one - I stayed well away...
[ I figure if my mate had troubles explaining to some dork that Anderson Connectors are NOT for interrupting current (one of those problematic Aussie Forums), I'd stay clear of Design Rules etc. FYI readers - Although Andersons have an "interruption lifetime at rated current" in their Specs, that does not mean they are "rated" or suitable for interrupting current. The aforementioned dork responded that he ONLY bought the quality American made Anderson connectors that were "interruptable"(sic), but my mate pointed out that both the drawings and American shells were CLEARLY labeled "not for interrupting current" - albeit only in French (the cheaper units are bilingual French & English). ]   
And did I mention how it has always poo'd me off when people don't realise why their indicators are flashing faster than usual?
You'd think the increased abuse & hornerisms from other road users would provide a hint....
And now with the substitution of LED indicators....
But I sill love the brake lights that wash out in sunlight.
Imagine having to sell your house because you fitted LEDs and hence your insurance doesn't hold.... LOL! (A pity the runner-upper is predominantly in the wrong....)
