Guys,

I need some help. I am installing a dvd in dash player in my sons lexus and need to keep the factory amp.

How do I wire up the aftermarket head unit to the factory amp?

I know the blue with white stripe will turn it on, but dont know how I can get it signal. It wont have RCA inputs to accept the aftermarket radios RCA outputs.

Help!!!

Thanks

Mike

You'll need to get an OEM interface device. Check your local shops, they should have several that you could choose from. Most of these tap into a high signal wire, like the speaker wires, and then convert this into a signal that can be transmitted via rca jacks. There are others, but most of the ones i've used before were like this.
Soldier: This is the worst part. The calm before the battle.
Fry: And then the battle is not so bad?
Soldier: Oh, right. I forgot about the battle.
