I've aquired a new style Chrysler C.D. cassette deck and I'm confused about the basic hookup. I'm used to black red etc. This thing has Batt.,Acc.,Illumin.,Park and mute. I've got the pigtails, but not sure where to hook them up. I got it to work sort of. It would play for about 3 seconds, then off, on then off. Kept doing that. Any help????

make sure you have enought voltage on the acc wire or mem wire, if the voltage drop below 9 volt or so it will shut off, then with it off the voltage would go up and turn back - on and off.

Cool! I'll try it but I'm still not sure where to hook the wires. Like acc illum park etc. I'm installing it in a 68 Roadrunner. Thanks.....
